1. Defend the clan, even at the cost of your life. you may have friends in other clans, but remember: one day you might have to meet tem in battle.
2.Do not hunt or trespass on another clans territory unless you have permission of the clan leader.
3. Elders and kits are the weakest, so they must be fed first before warriors and apprentices.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten, not for pleasure. so you must thank HeavenClan for the life of the prey that feeds your clan, especially during the Time of Frozen ground.
5. A kit must be at least 6 moons old to be known as an apprentice, so that they are not included in attacks and they will not be hurt or killed.
6. New warriors will prove themselves worthy of being warriors by sitting vigil.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy before mentoring an apprentice, for they have to be experienced in handling young cats.
8. the deputy takes the leaders place when the leader loses their last life.
9. after the death, retirement or promotion of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before Moonhigh.
10. At every full moon, the cats will gather at the gathering place to discuss things. there will be no fighting.
11. Boundaries will be checked and marked daily and all tresspassers will be challenged.
12. Kits, wether they are from your clan or nat, may not be neglected. they will be taken into the nursury and cared for until they are claimed.
13. the word of the clan leader is law.
14. the word of the Medicine cat may not be challenged, even by the clan leader.
15. A good warrior does not kill other cats. they kill only if they need to.
